With the TS IGW wastegate on the Ecoboost, if you want to change to spring say from a 7lb to 10lb do you have to completely take the wastegate off or can it be done while it’s already on the car?
Do you have to change the pre load with a heavier spring? I know the preload is 2mm with the IGW75 but is that for every spring?

You would need to remove it and set preload again. Also when going with anything above the 7lb spring you will need to have a tune or a revision if you already have a tune.

Thanks. I currently have the 7lb spring on a custom tune was wanting to switch over to the 10lb spring and go with PD tuning. Is the 7lb spring okay with FBO or should it be upgraded?
