I just have a quick question about a throttle control device I purchased a while back. I recently put on the 18 manifold and got a tune with it. I already had the throttle control device installed (race chip response control device). Im just wondering if it is ok to keep the device controller on or should I just take it off? The car runs fine but I'm just wondering if taking the throttle control device off would make the car run better. I dont know if pairing a tune with this device is a good thing. If anyone out there has any information on this that would really put my mind at ease. Should I take the device off or am I overthinking this and it is just fine the way it is

Well, if you like on-off switches for pedals, you know your answer.

You can leave it on but see how it reacts with the tune as the tuner may have already upped the throttle response enough.

All the throttle control devise (eg. Sprintbooster, PedalCommander, etc.) does is alter the signal between the pedal and the ECU to be more aggressive.

I know the newer Sprint Booster has different levels of responsiveness so you can choose your preference. I've had 1 on previous cars and always enjoyed the more immediate response to my right foot.

More info on the tune would be massively helpful.
Hmmm well I dont know too much about tuning. Just know it's a 93 tune with a lot of timing. Will be doing a flex tune soon. I did a friendly little run yesterday with a buddy and the car feels really good it just picks up and goes. May just keep the response control on for a while
