I've been recently toying with the idea of getting a tune for my 16 GT. Right now it is stock but I have a ported 18 manifold, JLT intake, 47 lbs injectors and a GT350 throttle body sitting in my garage ready to be installed. I reached out to Lund but I wasn't impressed by their services. That's why I am here. I would like some recommendations on tunes. What are y'all rockin?
Why not go with Palm Beach Dyno then? Rob and Ken have a very big following and tune quite a few cars in this community. They've got a great reputation as well.

Give us a shout if you have any questions as we're their largest distributor and always here to help.

Check out Palm Beach Dyno, they have been making some awesome tunes with the 5.0s, GT350s, and Gt500s. You can also use a HP Tuners Ngauge to utilize their tunes. Ken and Rob are great people and are more than trustworthy to tune your car!

I am currently tuned by Lund as well. But I also have experience dealing with Unleashed Tuning. I used them for my EB. I know he tunes the 5.0. Torrie is very responsive. I honestly don't think the guy sleeps lol. He will answer any questions and not make you feel like an idiot either. Top notch customer service.
I have been running E85 tune on my 18 from Torrie for over 2 years now. He has done my 2.7 and 3.5 Ecoboosts too. ;).

Tbh any tune you buy from Lund, PBD, AED. Etc. are canned tunes. They tune hundreds, thousands of cars have it pretty well vetted. So what you get is a custom, canned tune. So im not sure what you don't like about Lund's "services" since they are the same as anyone else's. There's plenty of positive and negative feedback on the other side of the street. If you want a more personal touch why not go for a custom dyno tune. I can attest to Lund's timely and helpful responses. They're busy but they always respond to my emails within hours.

I had a similar experience with 5-Star on my old 17GT - after 3 revisions, it still would barely idle, and wouldnt rev past 4k rpms. They stopped communicating after that. I ewnt to Lund and it was more or less perfect the first tune.

To the OP, I'd recommend looking at AED as a tuner as well. I'm using Shaun on my 2020 and its been very good over all. Really though, the combination you are looking to run, the major tuners have done 100's of the same cars. It should be pretty close to spot on the first tune. Like it has already been mentioned, if you are looking for that last small percent, you'll need someone with a dyno. Also I think Matt is referring to the newer LS based LT1 found in the new Camaros. Not many folks tune the 92-97 LT1s anymore. PCMforless still does it. Moe Bailey is another person who I think still does, you may need to reach out to him on Facebook though.

New here, so I'm sorry if I'm being slow, but how does one get in touch with Shaun?

SCT only I believe
Ya Shaun only uses SCT last time I checked. But dude is a wizard on the platform. And the fact you can work with him directly on all aspects of tuning and revisions is great. Performance on my 18 has been great with his flex tuning. Been running over 2 years now and shes strong for NA.

I am currently tuned with Lund. Has anyone ever switched from Lund to AED or to PBD? Just curious.
