Torrie tunes gt's? I honestly didn't know that!
He most certainly does. He's more known for the EB I think.

I could have sworn the OP asked about an SCT X4 tuner....
Whoops.

thats a matter of opinion, not fact.
Thank you for explaining that to me. Now let me give you some facts - I'm Lund tuned and have run down Bama tuned cars, AED tuned cars, and local dyno tuned cars with equivalent mods.

By my experience, which is limited to only Lund tuning I admit, it's the best I've come across in the real world. I'm sure they're all solid and within a couple hp of one another.

EDIT: Thinking about it, if I had to switch tunes now I'd probably contact Ken Bjonnes (spelling?) at PBD. Apparently he's been killing it lately.

Lund Racing through Lethal Performance. No poll needed for this one.

Give us a shout if you have any questions and we''ll be glad to assist you.

Thanks, Jared
I looked around your site but couldn't find a page for buying just the tune...you have a link you could send?

Also general question: any issues with the "ghost cam" tunes from Lund?

Try to datalog it with them. I am running the 93 performance tune and it is working great. I have heard their V2 tunes are better than what Bama was putting out previously

Heard nothing but good about Lund and Livernois.
Thanks for the mention!

We offer awesome tuning for all of the S550 variants! We do not have any of the issues that are prevalent with our 2.3L tuning, 5L FF tuning, 5L FI tuning or even GT350/350R tuning! :ford:

not denying how good a tuner Lund is, his record speaks for itself, but to say "he's the best" for your average bolt on 5.0 or even a mild blower setup is silly, and matter of opinion.

I find it a little ridiculous that Ken at Palm Beach Dyno is left out of this poll. Running Kens tune at Palm Beach Dyno and loving every minute of it.

So the man can tune the heck out of big setups but somehow he is just average if you just have bolt ons or a mild blower setup... Yeahhhhhh....

I am very happy with my AED tune, It runs WAY better than my dyno tune.

I ran the AED FF idle lope tune in my 5.0, the car ran amazing. I never had the car stall on me.
Regular performance FF tune is surprisingly tame in the lower rpms, and transforms into a beast when under heavy throttle.

Does AED tune for the auto yet? Just curious.

if you read all the replies (Im guilty of not myself) youd see where I said he is mastering auto tunes, he actually bought an A6 shop car to hone his auto tuning skills.

The auto tune is spot on, *while not for everyone* his "idle lope" tune has yet to stall on me.
Now that my car is AED tuned, the car has taken on a throttle dependant personality.
Smooth crisp shifts at low rpms, and turns into an unleashed beast when on the throttle.
AED uses both both "S" and "D" drive modes.
"S" mode is a little more aggressive shifting into gears, while "D" is a bit more street tire friendly.
