I just picked up my car after a whipple stage 2, MMR oil pump and crank gear install, Car put down 694.59 RWHP and 520.50 RWTQ, was wondering what the differences were with a different tune from the standard Whipple stage 2 or just leave the car alone

Those are great numbers for a Whipple Tune ... I'll drive it like that for a while!

Those are really good numbers. Your gains will definitely vary but on average the included canned files are pretty conservative. I wouldn't be surprised if you picked up 50+whp by just changing the tune.

GagneGo, what pulley are you running? 3.75/3.625? There's still more power to be made with the Whipple tune. Smaller pulleys and higher octane will render more HP's. Per the Whipple manual, with the 72# injectors and 100 octane or higher, you can run a 3.375" pulley w/o a BAP. Roh92cp just purchased the 3.375 and is running BND Fuel catalyst. Be interesting to see what he makes. Plus Whipple Tune = Whipple Support.

Roh92cp has my attention... give us an update on how the 3.375 does. curious to know about this, not just hp numbers wise.

So I got test the 3.375" coming back from Quebec City Tuesday. I was on 93 and ACES on the way out but on the way back I had to fill with shell 91 (it's all they have there) and 2 ounces of ACES. With ACES fuel catalyst and 91 octane I was able to pull 4th gear to 6500 rpm a couple times with zero knock on my NGauge. No way that could have happened on 91 with 3.375" on. ACES proved its of to me. I'll be doing some more testing soon.
