Hey Guys,
I need some advice. I'm trying to get into a 2017 Mustang GT to take advantage of the 0% APR. The problem I'm having right now is my trade-in. I tried to trade-in my car in various dealerships and they lowballed me bad. My 2010 Mustang has a record on Carfax regarding mileage discrepancy. What happened was that when the car arrived at a Ford dealer it had 47K miles and then it was sold or transferred to a Honda dealer (owned by the same owner) and when it arrived there it had 42K miles. That's what's on the contract. The actual mileage was 47K. I caught this 3 months after purchase. Story short, dealer agreed to fix the problem back in 2015. Here we are two years later and they didn't fix the problem. Now I can't trade in my car without a big lost in value. One dealer told me that if I agree to the trade-in price, the car will go straight to auction. They won't even try to sell it in their lot. You guys can't imagine how angry I am. What should I do? The 0% will end this weekend. Should I get legal advice or tell the dealer where I bough my car to cut a check for the amount my car has lost value?
Thanks in advance
