The official diagnosis isn't in, but I had the car in 3 times for transmission jerk shifting and vibration in drivetrain, they changed the valve body, some pump, and the other time they did a reprogram. It all points to the cdf drum bushing and trash can(outer shell housing). This is the most common issues on the 22 A10. The fourth incident was the transmission letting go while going down the highway, it dumped a shitload of fluid, made some really big smoke and started slipping really bad. Tried to get ford customer care to buy it back, they declined so I filed with the BBB National Auto Line. 12 days later ford accepted the buyback. Now I wait and see what they offer and move forward.

Much better than I expected.. they let me walk away with about 10k in total including a coupon. That includes the payoff as well. They have restored my faith in the brand. But don't tell nobody....lmao

Did Ford just reach out to you unsolicited after denying you because you filed with the BBB? If so, the BBB is . Or was this a case of you pestering them after you filed until you got the right person on the phone? Either way, sounds like you're all set. 10k back, a coupon, and the 60th anniversary in Wimbledon White is coming out.

Coupon is 1500 on final price of any new Ford. Ford corporate denied the lemon law claim I filed with them, so I filed with bbb autoline and Ford accepted in 12 days. Mind you I had the car in the dealership 3 times for the transmission prior to 24k miles and 2 years. Then the transmission failed. Also sent a letter to Dearborn p.o. box Ford customer care laying everything out. Can't say exactly which part got it done, but the bbb is fire

There are no 2024 Camaro ss anywhere near me. 6 cylinder convertibles only. I'll honestly just buy a new mazda CX30 for 23.5k if I can't get the deal on the Stang.
