Transmission bushing insert...help!

When I first got my S550 I would miss approximately 1 in 4 shifts to either 3rd or 5th. I installed the Steeda transmission bushing about 25k miles ago and haven't missed a shift since. There is no noticeable increase in NVH either.

About 2k miles ago I replaced the shifter bushing with a urethane one from Energy Suspension, this made a very noticeable improvement in the feel of the shifter by making it feel more solid. There is a little more vibration in the handle when you have your hand on it but it is no worse than any other manual I have had.

For the $45 I spent on these two items I would recommend everyone install them. Takes less than an hour for both.

Not all cars have the same effect, I installed it on mine and fixed the shifting a little, no vibration but a friend installed it on his and was vibrating like crazy. We ended up taking it off drilling holes but still vibrated. Threw in trash, but not everyone has that issue as said before. Out of 32 that bought it from our group only 2 had issues with it.
