A little backstory. I’ve had a 2019 A10 5.0 Base car for 3 years (bought new). Car currently has Corsa longtubes mated to Corsa sport, and a Lund e85 tune.
I got bored of the Auto, despite the performance, and had been wanting a manual car. And a fully loaded (minus recaro’s) 2019 pp2 in need for green popped up at my local dealer, with only 6,700 miles on it. So I bought it and plan to to transfer all of my stuff over, headers, exhaust, bmr suspension goodies, excluding the shocks and springs as the new car is magneride.
My question is though, is it possible to utilize my same tune for the new car? I know it’s auto to manual, but I didn’t think Lund tunes did anything with the A10 anyways, I thought you had to go HP Tuners for that.
My only concern with getting a whole new tune is that now I will no longer to be able to get a tune from anyone that will disable the rear o2’s. I have 90 degree extensions that I have used successfully for emissions tests in the past, just switched back to 93 from e85 and ran stock tune for a few days to get everything ready again. But I'm also concerned about just not being able to get a tune optimized for headers. Although I am not sure if the tunes are actually optimized for headers or not from Lund, as I was previously instructed I could run my tune prior to the installation of my headers on the old car.
Finally, if I do have to buy a new tune from Lund, can I Re-use my Ngauge in the new car, obviously assuming it was properly uninstalled from the old car.
