Hey guys new to this forum. Wondering if anyone can answer this question. Can a 2018 dual clutch be used on a 2015 MT82? Reason why is because I own a 2018 5.0 PP1 and my stock MT82 has been fixed twice because of fork shifts and what not. I have a buddy that has a 2015 MT82 laying around with less than 10k miles and short shifter. And wondering if it'll fit my 2018.

Mechanically, it will bolt in, same shifter, driveshaft, etc. The 18's did not not have rev matching so the plugs and wiring should be the same. Just get a new clutch for when you do the swap, also get a blowfish racing shifter support bracket or a combination bracket/shifter from barton racing. The support backet will greatly improve the shift feel and longevity of the trans.

On a side note, the 15-17 trans will improve your 0 to 60 times. The 11-17 MT-82's were close ratio with a single overdrive with 5th gear being 1:1.
In 18 ford changed the trans to a wide ratio gear set with a double overdrive and now 4th gear is 1:1

You think I can still use the stock 2018 clutch meanwhile I get a new clutch?

You'll need to compare the input shafts. The pilot bearing is in the flywheel of the '18, while it is in the crankshaft of the 15-17.
