I just noticed your in columbus ga i am in manchester, and when i was shopping for my mustang i stopped in at the ford dealer in columbus and they were not coming off the msrp but 1500 dollars they were the highest dealer in a 50 mile radius on autotrader. Where did you buy the ford and dodge at?
Mustang came from MO 9 hours away lol Cat was only 2 hours away in Cincy. I usually shop within a 500 mile radius and email hundreds of dealers if that is what it takes. People think I am crazy but I can only afford these things finding the best deals at the age 25.

Create an email template, put in the price that you are willing to pay and send it out to as many places as you can. Ask them to send you an email back if they think they can work out a deal. Not many of them will get back to you and some will even get mad lol. It only takes 1 to cut the deal :).

My father-in-law has a Hellcat (Challenger 8AT), love that thing...for rides and drives, but wouldn't want to own one. Its thirsty and tire hungry but its a blast heading to the Bay Area err Mexico in it and laying waste to yuppies in 250K+ supercars on the freeways.

If anyone is interested please shoot me a DM so I can set you up with the right sales guy. He just texted me to saying people are calling the dealer directly lol he will get you the best deal!

I think my base PP is too fat at about 3675 lbs. No way I would buy a car that tips in at 4500 lbs and has sporting pretensions. Handling is way more important to me than horsepower.

That's a crazy good deal. Around Christmas time they were advertising the Hellcat lease deals at $7007 down, and $707 a month. How the hell do they make it $0 down and $600 a month.

Dodge has got too many Hellcats sitting in inventory.
Demon in cue doesnt help either, I'm sure.

$600 per month to beat on a 707hp car with a warranty for 2 or 3 years...then walk away.

I feel for the people that bought these for $75-80k not too long ago.

I don't think anyone paid that for one. They probably all did like everyone here, got 10k under Msrp and the dealers daughters phone number.

Traded in a car you owned for a leased car you think is ugly and makes almost twice the power of the car you already thought had too much power as a DD.

I don't get it.....

I think it is ugly but I also love the road presence and just the overall retro look. I got out of the Mustang at the right time without taking too much of a hit. It does not make too much sense to DD hellcat but why not... I can enjoy it for 3 years with full warranty while not tying up any capital on it.

Never buy a depreciating asset. If it drives, flies, floats, or fucks, lease it.

The mustang will be the last car I own, unless I get another job that requires me to drive more than 12-15k miles a year.

Eh.

I mean, if you lease, you end up with nothing. At least at the end of the finance period, you'll have your own car. Might not be worth much by then, but at least you have something.
