I have a 2016 GT PP premium. I went to the track Saturday, put the toggle switch to track mode. I started my burnout and the car just wanted to bog down rather that burn out. In track mode, is advance-track still on?
I don't think I was pressing the brakes to hard. Also when I attempted line lock, it stated option not available.

Can you also use Line lock with Launch Control off?

I did have launch control off while trying to do a burnout also.

Thanks for your advance guys!

the owners manual lists what is required for Line Lock, Launch Control being ON is not one of the prerequisites.
The vehicle is on a level surface.
• The engine is running.
• The vehicle is traveling less than 25
mph (40 km/h).
• Selectable Drive Mode is not in wet
mode (if equipped).
• There are no electronic stability control
faults.

Advancetrac is off in track mode

If advance track is off in track mode, that isn't the problem. Thanks for the info.

Guess I was too hard on the brakes.

Advance track is NOT off in track mode, it is just severely limited on what it can stop. Track mode does disable traction control though. Two different things btw.

Would it stop the gradually stop the burnout?

Thank you. Asked Lund and they said clutch protection is off in all their tunes.

May be driver error but I can't do a burnout in my car either without line lock. Bogs out and ties to stall. All nannies turned off, at the track with my skinnies up front.

I feel a little better now, at least I'm not the only one. Went home and played with switching advance track off and practiced turning line lock on. I should be ready for it next time.

why would you not just use line lock and save you brakes? its super easy to use unless you want to burn out longer than 15 sec i guess lol

I tried once. Didn't work because I didn't know what I was doing, had never used it before.

Advance track is On in track mode. To turn off everything you must press the brake and traction control button for 10 seconds, wait a confirmation message and press ok then.
