I believe they were allotted one retail order which is my car. Oh well just wait and see I guess. Thank you for your response.

The next Mustang scheduling day is 11 Sep, this is when the retail VINs should start to populate. OKTB is the 9th, which is when retail orders start. There is plenty of wine already on this subject from peeps who think it is a conspiracy and production is sliding. Nothing has changed so unless you are bringing cheese to the fest its a moot point.
Myabe I don't understand OKTB properly. OKTB means "Okay to buy", This confuses me because all along we retail orders have been told "relax, (stock & retail) be arriving to your dealers around the same time", but I don't see how that is can happen if the retail orders aren't going to be scheduled until after Sep 11th. Are the dealers going to be getting stock units before retail orders or will they be getting them around the same time?

There is a high probability that the first cars built (retail cars) will be held for quality control checks. Mwanwhile, more cars are built. So the initial cars and the later cars (some of which may be custom orders) may ship around same time.

Very early build dates may not mean earlier delivery at this time of the game.

Mine has worked since the day I ordered, early last week. I can see the right car and options, but no VIN yet.

Got a response from Tricia today that while I don't have an exact build date, it's listed as "mid-August", but that's subject to change. I have a feeling that mine will the week of Aug 11th based on that, but we'll see. I sure hope so!!

First, before any stock orders get built, the tooling trials / Ergonomic assessment, and other bugs get ironed out. The date they are shooting for is 11 Aug if everything goes well. Like any new platform, there are hiccups to be worked out. When they begin MP2/Job1 or whatever you want to call it, there are 11K cars to build for dealer stock that are scheduled. Don't get excited about that number, the hard working Mustang line at FRAP can crank them out in three weeks, but to get a good start, it'll be more like 5 weeks as they ramp up. So, then they sit while the QA/QC process goes on. Some will hit the carriers right away, some will get lost in the massive parking area. While this is going on, retail orders will get built. There is a chance the first carrier will arrive with a retail order, but most likely stock orders and Fusions.
Somehow, I think some here get the impression if you order a new model retail, you get it first. If you want an order first (2016 Mustang, later with the 150's or Focus) work with a dealer to buy one of his first stock allocations.

COTUS only "sort of" works for me. It never stops thinking to display its screen unless I press ESC. Then I get my In Processing result.

My car is a priority 20 (dealer stock, the first one they ordered on July 14) so I am curious to see how that all shakes out with the real production schedule.

Anyone know how long it takes for an order to show in Cotus? I've read a few days, but my order was submitted 7/28 and it's not showing up yet. I've sent a PM to FordService, but haven't heard back yet... TIA
