The vibe I got from being at the track attack and reading online is the school cars are very well maintained. The staff are car people who also have corporate financial/legal motivation to keep you safe. No telling how hard people went but looking back the experience wasn't much more then a hard weekend of back country roads for me 🤷🏻‍♂️ I do want a roll cage though cause race car!

I was talking to one of the mechanics at the track attack and they are well maintained. but I would be more worried that it has been wrecked or damaged. I dont believe it goes on carfax being fixed in house.

Ford Racing School kept pretty detailed records of what was maintained, broke or damaged. I believe all records were provided to whoever bought the car from them. I communicated with them about buying a couple of the Track Attack cars and was told all records came with purchase. I didn't pull the trigger.....☹

They sold for I believe $50k from FPRS. This is way, way overpriced. The only thing special about them is the Watson roll bar. You can find a better HP that's never been tracked for less. True, FPRS doesn't really let students push the cars very hard, BUT you have a lot of inexperienced drivers in these cars and things like missed shifts and overrevs are a thing. There is a 2022 HP, loaded for sale near me with 6k miles at $53K and I know he'll take $50k. One thing I see in the pics I didn't know they were doing is heat shielding around the brake master reservoir and a scrunchie around the cap.

I'd be interested at $45k, but I'm sure it will sell for more than that.

All the warranty work will show on both the Oasis and the Carfax. The local Ford Dealership near the school did the work. The school did all the oil changes, brake, and tire work. If it was wrecked or blown up, you'd see it in the history. Well maintained.

A car buddy of mine and his son purchased a Focus ST track car as the son attended the school and they were only $10K, he had first choice from the school, might be worth twice now. I'm very surprised the seat are leather, not cloth for a track car. Love the color, same as my 2019!! They got lots of extra's with the ST. Rotors, pads, wheels, etc.

These are 600A cars spec'd with cloth recaro on the window stickers. However, a lot of Mach 1's ordered with cloth Recaro's during covid were delivered with leather Recaro's. As far the FPRS cars I'd wonder if they somehow got these as leather through another means.

The Carfax shows a transmission repair, and some regular maintenance. The car was only at FPRS for the first 5k miles or so. Someone else put on the next 7k. Also, fwiw these were all factory RSD cars.

There was a really long thread on here with all the Mach 1 Track Attack cars when they were sold and some members responses of those who bought them. There was a similar thread when the GT350 TA’s were also listed for sale and sold.

Yes when the TA M1’s were sold they were topping the $50k range, but there’s some years that have passed since those cars sold, so try to find one now that is selling for $50k or less…. You won’t, because of the fact these cars are “one offs” and sought after. You’re going to pay a premium for them now and in the future.

They weren’t put away “wet” and any comments as such, then the commenter doesn’t know how Ford Performance maintained these vehicles…. These were maintained better than most of the S550’s on this very site…. And they had to be for strict liability reasons. Their entire maintenance history was logged.

This is a deal for someone looking to retain Ford history and hold on to such a vehicle; they’re only increasing in value.

Months ago there was a red M1 TA also on CarGurus - I forget the door # on it but it was listed at $54k from another Ford Dealer…. They’re out there but you really have to search for them if wanting to buy because those who bought them after the initial sale from Ford Performance have been holding on to them.

Interesting you mention 5K then another 7K miles. If memory serves me correctly, I saw this car for sale before, same dealer. I live about 100 miles from Avon, NY, so seems familiar. The VB color always sticks with me as mine is VB.
