Just 145mph for the EB? Electronically limited, I assume. As for the car capabilities seems low for 310 hp and 3500 lb (as a comparison, my poor Alfa 159 gets over there -151mph- with just 260 hp and 3968lb, a whale due to torsen AWD transmission)

I think there is a lot of drag on a Mustang, no matter how hard I tried I couldn't get over 180 mph on the autobahn

The 2015 has less drag and will likely have both more horsepower and torque, so it may get above that if the ECU is flashed (tuner) to remove the limiter.

Hey, don't go blaming your car's weight issues on Torsen. :headbonk:
But weight really has little to do with top speed. It comes to two things - drag and HP. Unless, of course, its governed. But the Contour SVT that I used to own would hit 153 with 200 HP, drag limited. For the same vehicle, an extra 60 HP should have gotten to 160 or so.

There seems to be a wall ~180 mph. Saw the video where they tried to reach 200 mph with the Shelby and couldn't. I have a 700 hp 03 Mustang Cobra and I can't seem to break it. I do hope I get the opportunity to see if the 2015 Mustang can.

If you paid close attention to that video they showed the local track conditions they were running in. With the altitude and high temperature the DA(density altitude) was over 3,000 feet greatly reducing the amount of oxygen available for the engine to produce power with.

There have a few tests done on the 13-14 GT500's and they did run between 197-201mph if I remember correctly. They are out on YouTube.
