Has anyone topped out there 2019 Bullitt? I had mine to 163 mph. 265 kph. It felt like it had lots to go yet but I was running out of open road. I need to get it to a closed track where I can really test it.

Sounds like you were getting on down through there! How much road did you have before you had to slow down? I wonder if doing it from a dig, as opposed to a roll on will allow you to push it even faster?

There was a guy on here in Germany that ran his up to 181 mph on the Autobahn.

163 is it. Electronically limited to that speed in USA. It gets there fairly quick. It was still pulling hard, felt it would do 180-ish if it wasn't for the limiter. My biggest issue with that speed is the hood vibrates, and it would really suck if it came loose at 160. Would like to install a pair of GT500 style hood pins/locks.

My hood popped up on my Bullitt once. Thank God the car was still in the garage. I had just closed the hood and was standing there, when about a minute later, I heard a pop and noticed that the hood had come unlatched on its own. That has always been on my mind ever since. Now I drop the hood from just a little higher (about 12-14”), just to make sure it latches good. I think it might have been due to the PMAS air intake kit. That thing is larger in diameter than the stock one.

181 shows a lot of improved Aero on the Bullitt vs say the 13-14 GT500. Thats was supposed to be able to do 200(on a near 8 mile loop track) but most tests capped out at about 190 as there want enough road to slowly creep up the last 10MPH or so.

So if our cars with say just an ECU tune is doing 181 thats really close to what it previously took 662hp with a 3.31 gear to do.

Will a tune fix that? Are the GT's capped as well?

GT's are capped lower, the Mach1 is capped like 3MPH faster.

A tune will remove the limiter.
