Ruby Red Mustang GT ...just sold :-(
The waiting <is> the hardest part...
So, finally picked my Ruby Red GT up from TrustFord Epsom, under the excellent care of j-rowe14.
Ordered it mid Jan 16. Original delivery date was mid September - so about 6 weeks early.
All seems hunky dory with regard to panel alignment and puddle lights that actually show a horse not some sort of horse/slug hybrid.
As for underseal... let's just say there is some.
The dealer fitted Roush axle backs which sound the biz, and front parking sensors; really neat job.
Have insured it through Ford who gave me a good quote but have an odd approach to mods. The exhaust was fine but I planned to get a black roof wrap next week - but they won't cover me for this.
Go figure!
Thanks for all on the Forum who made the wait bearable!
Pic shows the car in its new home... a bit out of place in Surrey suburbia.
Mark

PS The registration refers to the amount of debt I have now incurred.

...Just realised that it matches my neighbour's garage door.
Probably not the best comparison to make...

Very nice. Direct Line make no charge for stripes; roof wrap is a wide stripe, yes? Also no charge for a stainless exhaust that doesn't increase horsepower.
Hopefully see you around, I'm in Godalming.

Thanks. Tried Direct Line but Ford beat them by about ÂŁ200... will see who gives me the best price at renewal; new insurers might be more lenient (and by lenient I mean logical)

Nice one Mark, welcome to the Ruby Red OC :)

It's a great car, I've learned more about its capabilities and I'm completely bowled over by it after the NC500 blast. This car can handle anything thrown at it, driving wise ;)

I hope Maxwell Woofington enjoys it too

They did a really good job of colour matching them! So good that you can't even see them! There's four though. Honest. I'll take a better pic. inc where the switch is located. Dealer said it's the first fitting they've done.
