Have you sat in the 2015 Mustang? I have.

Didn't think so.
Did I reply to something you said? Didn't think so.

You sat in one? OMG could I have a signed picture?

Doesn't matter one way or another all that silver shit is too much. The base interior switch gear is smarter and better looking.
-"in my opinion"

Some of us aren't fans of an all black IP. I prefer the satin chrome look.

Go to 5:05 and listen for about 15 seconds... The switches are NOT aluminum.

That's the video I was looking for and based my statement on.
The ford guy said it's Chrome but Spartan sat in one and can't be wrong.
I wonder who's correct? Must be Spartan because he sat in one.

Did I mention that he sat in one?

Nope but you said we were all wrong, which I have actual factual experience.

You know he's an engineer and not one of the interior designers (and if you noticed he started with "I don't kno...") that have stated the toggle switches arent aluminum. There's interior design videos of the team saying they are aluminum.

As Grimace and I and others who have sat it in Mustang and actually used the toggles, they are not chrome/plastic. They are aluminum and they feel aluminum.

I love the fact that you're an authority because you sat in it once but the guy that works for ford who I'm sure sat in it many times is wrong.

Tricia just confirmed that I got my VIN today so even you can't upset me now.

That's what I was thinking. The last thing he's probably thinking about is what specific material the toggles are made of. It conflicts with other Ford staff.

I mean, you can SEE the difference in finish just by looking at these pictures. There's a chrome bezel around the instrument binnacles, the cupholders, and the shiftboot. Even a small ring of chrome band covering maybe >5% of the shifter head, and little chrome guards/dividers between the toggles.

But the toggles and HVAC/volume knobs look like aluminum with a pearl metallic finish.

USA Today:
The 2015 Mustang's interior has been overhauled with better quality materials, more openness - thanks to the lower portions of the instrument panel being put on a diet - and accented with bright aluminum toggle switches and knobs.

Forbes:
Impressive Interior: The interior layout remains true to Mustang heritage, with a symmetrical, elevated dash pad ahead of the driver and passenger, a two-pod instrument cluster and a three-spoke steering wheel. Real aluminum accent trims and toggle switches give the cabin a premium feel while a smaller dashboard provides more knee room.

LA Register:
The settings are all easily switched with aircraft-inspired metal toggles that change the driving character so dramatically as to make the Mustang feel like entirely different vehicles.

Just to name a few...

You know that none of them are Ford engineers or interior designers.

I won't believe it until you've actually sat in it.
