Premium toggles in a base?

Looking at the premium toggles switches... why wouldn't they fit in the basement model? They look the same to me as far as design of the toggle.

Looking at the premium toggles switches... why wouldn't they fit in the basement model? They look the same to me as far as design of the toggle.
The size is not correct as there are 4 toggles and 3 buttons. On top of this the circuit board is not configured for the premium toggles.

My custom toggle switches are meant for base model owners, :thumbsup:

You can just buy the premium insert. One of the toggles I'll be dead tho

You cannot buy just the insert. You would have to buy the entire premium radio bezel to get that panel. The toggles will not fit in the base model panel because they will be to small and configured for 4 slots instead of 3. On top of all of that the base model circuit board does not have the circuitry required to support the premium toggles.

There is a lot more involved then just swapping the physical toggles....

Ah, didn't even dawn on me that they were narrower. That answers the question.
I have a premium so no use for them, and I am speaking impartially, but the ones that Zack made are really cool, I followed the thread. You should consider that as an option.

They are cool for sure. I was just wondering why the premiums wouldn't work. Now I know. [emoji4]
