That's a lot of money for rims and tires, anybody take these cars to the track to see what they run in the quarter mile ?

I can't wait to get back to the strip. Last time out I had a ground issue, let off early and ran 10.20/138. Managed a 1.62 60'. Now on a smaller pulley, and added the steeda diff support, Aluminum drive shaft and black diff bushings. Should be solidly in the 9's, and 1.5 60' Just boost and fuel for power mods.

What is a "ground issue" and how would that effect your pass?

Tach dropped to zero, and all gauges and dash lights went out. I let let off, because I didn't know what was wrong. Found out later it was just a loose battery cable.

Draggy was a little off 10.24 Vs 10.20 actual, but you can see where I had to let off. It shows the drop in G force and speed.

You may be surprised, but this stock looking setup with 275/40/19 555Rll’s outback holds pretty damn good. I can hook at 40mph in 2nd at 4000rpm on the hit. @ 4000rpm it’s hooking 600lb/ft. 3.15 gear, bone stock suspension.

I might be doing that at some point. The problem with track is things break and then what is already expensive, becomes even more expensive. I had an 01 TT Cobra that ran mid to low 9's but dang it was a costly adventure every time I went to the strip.

You just got to have the right supporting mods not a great idea to put a power Adder on then a drag pack with some nice sticky tires and not upgrade your half shafts or drive shaft you're right about shit breaking at the track

Been crazy busy and haven't been able to update the post but here it is after setup is complete. I am very happy with the results and the 305 does its job for sure.

Are welds the only ones that give any meat up front?
Seems VMS / Racestar are the most popular but they only provide skinnies up front... I'm trying to put an cheap setup together, but seems I'm going to have to mismatch the fronts from rears... thread to come :)

I think others can be special ordered with additional widths, I really didn't want the "skinny" due to the drivability. I had 18x5 on my 01 Cobra and while they worked well at the track, the highway and normal driving was not fun. I love the way the 20x8 came out. If you are looking for a cheap set, Weld probably is not the right path, but in my opinion you get what you pay for and I am happy i decided to spend the extra on these.
