I'm running Nitto 305/35 /19 rII on the back and was considering running either the rII or NT01 on the front. I'm running 275`s on the front. I'm retired and don't put a lot of miles on the car. I will be doing autocross. Your help is appreciated.

You don't need the drag radial on the front also. Many people mix and match with the Nitto rii. I run the matching tread Nitto g2 on the front. Nope would never run them in the rear, but they are ok on the front. Of course, Nitto recommends that particular setup, since it is their tire and they do have the same tread design. Since you don't put a lot of miles on your car, it shouldn't be a problem. I don't know many people who run the drag radials on Autocross circuits.

You do realize he said he runs the Nitto rii drag radials on the rear...referring to your donuts comment. I've never run the Nitto g2 on the rear, so I can't say what might happen. As far as running them on the fronts, matched with the rii on the rear, I CAN say they are fine, since that is what I do when the weather is hot.

There has to be something in here...

Nittos are good for people who want to do donuts at intersections.

He asked for a tire that works with AutoX. Nittos are never the answer.
