Tired of hearing about the Voodoo sound

Lexus LFA is king of exhaust sound, everything else is meh in comparison. Even the GT350

LFA is quite good but for my hard earned dollar I would vote on an early Jaguar F Type.

To me it sounds harsh, tinny and unsophisticated. IMO a Z06 is how a FPC is SUPPOSED to sound.

And while the coyote is no slouch, I prefer the sonorous crescendo of the Camaro lt1 after it has a tune that lets it breath and rev. The coyote sounds like an agriculture engine threatening to shake itself to bits by comparison.

I think voodoo owners just have eco boost envy. They want that 4 cylinder zing and needing to keep the revs up over 3500.

I will say though the voodoo sounds coarse and means business. It's not a toodle along and relax sound track.

I think the Voodoo sounds better than the Coyote. Do I wish that Ford would have let the FPC sound like a FPC? Yes I do, but I also understand while Ford did it. Unfortunately this caused a lot of the vibration issues they have.

I think the Coyote is a good sounding car, not a great sounding car. I think my E92 M3 with a set of testpipes and simple axle back sounded way better than my Coyote. To be honest I am just happy in this day and age we can still get a V8 with a manual transmission.

I have to be honest, I like to put my Coyote with an AE Borla Type S into "QUIET" mode and go trolling. No one ever expects a quiet(ish) mustang to have 600whp.

If they want to go again after the first run, I swap it "TRACK" so they can hear it better. I mean... Their mistake!

2V are the best sounding, too bad they are slow as shit. The VooDoo def sounds better than the Coyote, which might be my least favorite sounding Mustang but it isn't too bad.

Slow is relative. Plenty of 2v in the 7s and 8s in the 1/4 mi.

I'm sorry but if you are looking for the best sounding V8 in the world you are all wrong. It's the Maserati Quattroporte.

I'll never buy or own one because it will depreciate fast like burning money and will break down frequently, but the sound of quite every Maserati passing nearby is something magical.
