I had my ecoboost serviced about 2 months ago and they did a full synthetic oil change, inspection and rotated the tires... I've been noticing that after parked (whether it's for 3, 4 hours or over night) when I turn the steering wheel, the front passenger side tire makes a noise ( a clunk) Sometimes it happens when I go into a driveway or am making a 3 point turn. I read in another forum that a similar problem like this was the cause of something that the dealer did or didn't do. And then I saw that this may be caused to the rotation of the tires and is normal. My question is... is this something I should be concerned about and return to the dealer? I have noticed that the noise has gotten less but is still there. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks btw it doesn't seem to affect my steering.

Pretty normal in cold weather. They dont usually do that when its warm. I wish I could tell you exactly what is popping. Some say its tire tread adjusting itself on the ground. I think it might be the spring perch, but either way its common on cold days, very normal, and not anything to be concerned about!

It wouldnt hurt to check all the lug nuts to make sure they are tight.

Both my GT/PP (Pirelli P Zero) and my wife's C300 AMG (Pirelli P Zero Run Flats) do this on cold mornings, during a hard turn backing out of our driveway. I never noticed it until the front tires wore past 50%, though.

Thank you very much for your responses guys! Yea I haven't noticed any issues with the performance of the tires; I just wanted to be safe than sorry. I will check that the lug nuts are tight though, might as well. I only have 5200 miles on the tires so cant compare them to your post jacknif… but the cold weather thing makes sense. I was reading that after balancing tires it might make a clunking noise due to the change of the direction of the tread (or something). Anyway, as long as my wheel doesn't fall off im good. But I will make sure the lug nuts are tight and keep an eye on it. I should be expecting the noise to go away once the weather gets warm. Thx again
