Hi guys, so am getting
Close to pull the trigger on these sve drift wheels, as you know they are 19x9.5 and my question to all my track going guys is a 275 wide tire good for it, is it too wide? Should i do 265? Please let me know since i will use these for the track thanx.

what part of the 4 pages of responses you already got in your original thread was unclear?
Go back to your original thread and resume the conversation there, eh?

Well, i feel like that convo went another way ppl thought i was debating wether to get 275 or 285 and that was not the original question, in this am mainly asking track goers with that particular rim size since u guys helped me narrow it down. Make sense??

265 or 275 or 285, you wouldn't feel much difference. logic would say more rubber equal better traction. I myself, would run whatever fit the rim the best, not so much what size is best for track approach

we already answered that to the affirmative at least 3 or 4 times.
Might not have been clear to me, what was clear to me in the last threh was that 275 or 285 for a 19x10 rim was good but as you can see am asking if a 19x9.5 rim is good for a 275 for track work. Yes no what u think????

I can only tell you my experience. but 255/265/275 all was stretched on my Rohana 19x9.5

I had to get a 285/35/19

My 255/40/19 that I had on my 19x9.0's they fit perfect on those, then I got 9.5 Rohanas transferred them over, they was stretched as heck. The discount tire test fit the 265/275 and they barely look right, like minimally passable. I then went to 285/35/19 and boom. fit great.

275/35 will be fine on a 9.5" wheel. That's a typical tire width for a 9.5" wheel. The RS4 doesn't exist in 265 for a 19" anyway.

nope, shame though. im full steeda suspension, it would probably handle great. im too afraid to hitting a cone to do it. my friend did it and I was passenger and it was a hoot! he grazed a traffic cone and it marred his paint, I lost the interest after that. it scuffed his car up a bit.

I think if I did track, id want a spare car, just for the track. I dont wanna hurt my baby. 265 imo will be too small for 19x9.5 275 should offer SOME rim protection or be damn flush, in my case, 265 and 275, was just as stretched as the 255, it was still pulled inward.

the 285 gave it a nice round appearance. ymmv on wheels, go to discount tire, they will test fit wheels for ya. I went through several on the spot! they was great
