Toe out causes it to be darty as hell on the freeway. I like to cruise without having to constantly steer the car, I can live with some understeer on the street. I like comfort on the street. .05 toe in each side is a very small amount, ends up being zero at speed.

2 years is quite long to go between alignments. Curious to see where it’s at.

MP4S (and MPSS) are notoriously bad about losing the inner shoulder early in their overall wear. If you get 20k out of them I’d consider that pretty decent for the model.

drop your adjustable rear swaybar to its softer setting to help your oversteer. The rear is pretty fast to adjust. Depending on where the oversteer is happening If you have adjustable shocks you can adjust those too, then rear camber.

MP4S is a good tire, and best when really hot, but grip mid corner is tough to cure on the street, partly because of the condition of the street. with adjustable bars (in most cases) you should have enough adjustment to flip it from oversteer to neutral or understeer. Depends on the details of course.

Slight toe in helps take out steering slack and runs the tires straight when rolling. I like .05 each side of toe in and I run -2.25 camber each side. I get even wear but I do like to push corners once in awhile.
I’m going to get a reading and ask my tech for .05 deg toe on the front without worrying about further camber adjustment. This would be a .02/.03 increase from last time.

Trying to save a buck on this, custom alignment requests aren’t cheap!

I’d love to do an MP4S, but the MPSS is the only tire that has the matching sizes for the GT350 wheels (I know alternatives in aspect ratio’s exist, but I’m trying to keep the factory sizing!).

The rears are on track to wear evenly in about 20k, my fronts are damn near brand new looking and I’d like to squeeze some more life out of them. Killing the shoulder should be acknowledged but not accepted!

Going to soften the rear bar, no adjustable struts, my rear camber is adjustable via BMR UCAs. I’m up to ~-1.7 on the rear end.

More might be better for grip purposes but I think -1.7 is on the money for me for some backroad fun/freeway/joy ride use. The rear end is wearing perfectly evenly!
