If you were to purchase a set of the handling pack rims, what would be the best tire choice outside of Michelin that has a better all season tread?

Depends a lot on if you're sticking with OEM HP tire sizing. There aren't a lot of available A/S tires if you decide to stay 305/F 315/R. I bought a set of replica HP wheels 19X10's squared and used a 305 all the way around. The original OEM wheels are stored in the attic. I purchased a set of Cooper A/S tires and have about 1000 miles on them so far and I'm impressed.

I'm a big fan of Continental DSW06+. I had 285 35 R19 on the Ford performance Mach 1 HP wheels. However, you're way better off getting aftermarket rims. The Ford Mach 1 HP wheels are ridiculously heavy compared to the aftermarket offerings.

I am using Cooper Zeon RS3-G1 on my Handling Package car and, although I was skeptical given the low price, they are working out well for me. I appreciate PS4S and Continental DWS06+ on my other sports cars but the Coopers are making for a nice street tire on the Mach 1.

Why the Michelin hesitation? As far as I know the coopers are the only same size to same size offering in all season.

Do you daily it?
actually drive in bad weather?
below 40 degrees?

I had legit anxiety over the tires until basically few people i trust told me

don't drive it below 40 and in heavy rain/snow and you'll be fine.

I don't daily mine so i look at weather and go from there.

I personally like the pirelli p zero cinturato P7, Strada and Strada sport for an all season tire that has plenty of dry grip.

I just had a few minutes to talk to the Ford tech who installed my mods. He has a GT with about 650 wheel and had it at the dealership. He runs Conti Extreme contact out back and says they hook very nicely and handle decent in the rain too

Which last the longest for a daily driver? I gotta do some research when my PS4S wear out.

Anybody run the Conti SportContact 7 yet? They seem to be beating out the PS4S in dry and wet tests.

I had them on my 2004 and they weren't as good at anything as my PS4S', just $25-$50 cheaper per tire.

I have 42K on the rear PS4S, so I will not be complaining. They are coming off and I have a set of 4 18X10's with 285/35/19's on them that will be going on. And, yes, i will not be driving the car when the temps get to 40 and lower. But I don't need to so that is helpful.

I will say that the rear tires are almost on the wear bars, and they no longer hook up. They are gone and I must be very careful accelerating from stops and out of corners because they do not grip at all.
