I like to disassemble things.
White letters were very common on muscle cars in the 60's and 70's. Since that is what I grew up with I still like to see them; just part of the history.
As were bias ply tires. If the 2022 GT500 was equipped with 14x7 bias ply raised white letter tires, holy shit would it ever suck. Sometimes history should remain just that.

I won`t do it. But on a highly modded mustang with aftermarket rims and tires I find it more acceptable. If you are adding it to a stock mustang with stock tires then to me its just bad taste.

my opinion of course...

To each his own.

Tried that route but I couldn't get it to pass emissions or safety regs. NYS DMV recommended an electric buttplug instead.

I saw a kid on YouTube fully blacked out GT with white NITTO lettering. It looked great on a dark car. I think car color and wheels will determine if it looks good. Maybe how much sidewall you have. I don't think they'd look good on my setup. I considered after seeing that black GT.

Not sure what red you have. But to see then on a red car.

I'm not a fan of the colored lettering but I typically keep my cars pretty stock looking. I will say that it does look nice on some cars like these pics if someone is going for more of a drag car or racer vibe.

There is plenty of tackey around I can tell you that. Want to talk about tackey try shiny, plastic-looking tires, gag me with a spoon, for one.

The lettering needs to be in the rudder, NO lettering pin, paint will work very well/long.

That and the sidewalls are too thin on the tire to look decent.

Did a few cosmetic mods to my base '17 when I bought it new. Tire Stickers was one. Fit perfect over the factory embossed logo. They have held up well for 25k mi. and I get positive comments. If you don't have anything good to say....

I had tire stickers on my GT350 and loved it. Decided I wanted it on my GT500 but was a bit disappointed in the height of the letters. Since I chose the style with the Michelin man, the letters had to be shorter. I’m getting used to it but it did bother me at first.
