I think the best way to get the tips straight is to start at the tips and adjust back towards the X pipe. So put everything on and loosely tighten it. Then start at the tips. Put them where you want it and tighten. The go the next set and last tighten the X pipe.
This! Be careful dropping the stock resonator. That thing is heavy so its helpful to have an extra set of hands.

Will getting the rear wheels up on ramps provide enough clearance to install the new system? I already have an aftermarket system on my car, so no issues with getting the OEM system off. I have an H-pipe after the cats, then a short pipe that connects to the axle back (Corsas). I'm putting on a FRPP Touring Catback with X-pipe. Thanks!

I did my axle-back by removing the whole catback to cut and had no issue doing it all with just a set of 8" rhino ramps for the rear. So long as your arms are long enough to loosen the clamps from the headers to the mid pipe its fine.

Make sure the mid pipe clears the sway bar enough. Mine would rub on it and make a horrible noise, but you can't tell until the car is on the ground and the suspension is loaded again (I installed mine on jack stands). I managed to reinstall it and move it forward enough to stop the rubbing, but the clearance isn't huge. Its worth checking one the car is back on the ground.
