There's quite a few Nasa TT guys on TMO (mostly W2W though.) This forum doesn't have the strongest track presence; mostly daily drivers and car show people here.

Brian who ? Unlimited at global time attack is 10sec faster than a 350 at buttonwillow. Are you sure is unlimited?

Oh got it.
Yeah car is a beast. Not N.A. i think is 900 hp with sequential gears and many many other stuff.
Awesone driver in a great car

Good point.
350nis better machine for that.
The GT unfortunately tends to overheat. Like a lot.
I really looking forward to the mach1 front replica for putting my coolers on the side...

Mine sometime suffers with 3 laps when is really hot. Soni guess with the twin turbo might suffer. However younright 3 laps is all u need.

Not sure if anyone cares much, but enthusiast class is where mustang usually does pretty well in GTA. (I've had a few podium finishes) But then again... Nobody cares about Enth class anyway lol. So worthless talking about slow cars I guess.

there's a time attack component in optima, so i guess i do? :)
had intentions to do the SCCA TT/GTA event at the ridge this year, but the weather was shit so i went to laguna that weekend instead. definitely next year! and probably some NASA TT @ thunderhill/sonoma.

For TT that might be OK if drag does not increase. There is always a balance. In my case I like the coolers all stacked on top of the radiator because the bumper protects them. In non-contact SCCA road racing we have far too much contact. An unprotected flank cooler is just a different way to end your day.
