Hey all,

I just got and installed a Tial Q BOV (TIL-BOV-007) from ATPturbo. In their dropdown for selection of spring, they have a specific column for "supercharger". I have a Procharger supercharger. The spring size is "3 psi". Now, I have heard that everyone is saying to get a "2 psi". I recently (this morning) checked out the Tial website, and they only offer the "2 psi" for the supercharger application.

Has anyone else run into this, and is there a difference, other than what is stated on this chart?
Also, if you look at the chart, there are different spring sizes to choose from, if we are running a supercharger application, I assume we should ignore the "vacuum at idle" ratings to select a spring. At this point I'm a little confused......it seems to be working ok (as far as I can tell)......
Please chime in. Thanks!

Sounds fine to me, but if are you having any surge or if the box isn't staying open at idle you need a lighter spring.

No surging. And the box stayed open during that initial recodring. Seems to run the same as far as i can tell, just noisy as hell. Woooosh! Thanks for the reply!

Yes the 3psi spring is fine and like others have said it's working correctly.

Holy 2000’s!

I haven’t heard that sound since the 2000’s SRT4 and the Evo.’s. I’m just asking why you would want to hear that.

Meaning you would not need one.
let me help you out here.......

and this also (this really tells why I had to switch to that BOV, which produces that annoying "whooosh" sound that you so don't like )

Hope this helps.

Everyone knows what BOV is moron. I just didn’t think anybody would even use those anymore because they sound like ass. I drive V8.’s. I’m not even gonna get into this with you. You do what you want. If you want your car to sound like that go for it.
