  1. 30,000 Mile, No Catch Can Report

I know I'm late to this thread, but my with my mods I had a couple of ounces in my catch can at 24,000 miles. However, I sometimes reach 25 lbs. of boost at WOT, so I can live it. Keep modding!

  3. New McLeod Ecoboost Clutch Disc Upgrade

Fair warning. Do not buy this P.O.S. clutch disc! I installed one some time ago and it didn't fit properly. My mechanic showed my pictures of how it didn't match the edged s of my flywheel. As a result, it made a lot of noise. I contacted McLeod and I requested they buy back the unit and pay for...

  6. 30,000 Mile, No Catch Can Report

I installed an UPR CC on my car at 5k miles. The car now has 19k miles, and I recently emptied the CC when installing a bigger turbo. I would say there were 3-4 oz. of oil. However, now that the car is tuned for this turbo and has full motor bolt-ons, it gives me more confidence because I'm...
  7. Anyone Running E85?

T Thanks for the feedback you guys posted, and I'm sure it will help some folks on this site. However, I decided to prioritize saving for an aftermarket long block. Once I get that, I will go E85.
  8. Anyone Running E85?

I would be be grateful if you could list these options.
  9. Anyone Running E85?

My mechanic let me know of a another, less modded than my car Mustang Ecoboost owner that went full E85. Local tuner got 430 rwhp from his car. This tuner is confident in this power level because E85 creates no engine knock and pulls no timing, so no pre-detonation. My mechanic also answered my...
  10. Precision-Turbonetics NX2 turbo EcoBoost build thread

Just installed this turbo. Really happy with it. Although I'm on my initial tune from Adam, the car pulls all the way to redline. My E30 datalog showed consistent boost as well, peaking at a little over 25 lbs. and staying over 23 lbs at redline. I will see what happens with the next tune...
  11. 400 cell catted 3" downpipe

Now that you mention it, I agree. I've been this car driving so long with it's custom built exhaust, including the resonators, and an E30 tune, that I forgot about smell and sound the car had with just a non-catted DP. Of course, the mods I mentioned eliminated those issues.
  12. 400 cell catted 3" downpipe

To each his own, but a 200 cell cat DP is not an appreciable difference between an non-catted DP. The exhaust smoke smell factor can't be much different. I use E30 fuel and it doesn't create any exhaust smoke smell on my non-catted DP.
  13. Thoughts on E30 Tune

I just finished my first full tank of E30. It looks like I lost 1-2 miles per gallon. However, the way lower price of the E85 makes up for this. Also, my car runs smoother and blows much less smoke (I have no cat). Overall, I'm sold on this fuel mix and tune. Last, do you more experienced E30...
  14. Massachusetts Precision / Turbonetics NX2 Drop-In Stock Location Turbo *NEW* with extras

How much with the UPR DVCC? I already have one. Thanks.
  15. Thoughts on E30 Tune

I would be nice to just have 93 octane available, but California stupidly doesn't. The E30 fill-up does not take much longer than a standard fill-up. At my gas station the E85 and premium gas come from the same pump. Remember, I'm pulling 5 degrees of timing with my mods, at WOT. That's scary...
  16. Thoughts on E30 Tune

Also, just to be sure, I test the E85 I get at a local station every two weeks. My last test showed the E85 to be E84, at best. The smartphone calculator allows you to adjust for this.
  17. Thoughts on E30 Tune

Adam offers an app, or you can download an app on your smartphone that shows what the correct mix ratio of E85 to gasoline should be. I use my Cobb Accessport to show me exactly how much fuel I have in the tank. It's much more accurate than the analog gauge in the dash.
  18. Engine idle

We both have a 2016 model. My car, before and after modding has always had a rough idle with occasional stumbles, after a cold start. Once it's semi-warmed up, the car idles smoothly--at least for a 4 cylinder motor.
  19. Thoughts on E30 Tune

Because of the crappy 91 octane fuel in California, I just upgraded to an E30 tune from Tune +. Adam recommended I try it, as at WOT my car was pulling five degrees of timing! I am half way through my first full tank of E30, and my car has never ran better. This even includes at idle. WOT pulls...
