This Will Get You Noticed Big Time!

Like many other owners of 2015 Mustang GTs with the base suspension and EBs w/PP that were built before Feb 11, 2015, my car has the brake squeal issue. I've heard others describe the volume of the squeal as worthy of a garbage truck and I agree. Most of the time, if you do a normal stop, the squeal only lasts 2-3 seconds (still a PITA). But when you are descending a steep parking garage or some other ramp, the squeal can drag on for what seems forever. Literally, it will have people covering their ears and shooting you the finger.

Enjoy this video I made of my car descending a parking garage ramp and stopping at the gate. Hopefully Ford's TSB fixes this. I hope to find time in the next week or two to take my car in for service.

WOW! My car has the brake squeal but only after I haven't driven it for a few hours. Brake a couple times and it goes away.

But damn that's horrible.
