Did I say I had a prestigious job? Nope. Why are you asking? Is being a car salesman your dream job?

No you didn't say you had a prestigious job, but you did say:

Typically the sales people don't know much about cars anyway. They just can't find a better job.

So, you didn't say your job was prestigious, you just pointed out that not only is Car Sales beneath you, but for people that can't find anything better to do.

I live in reality, so my dream job of getting paid an 8-figure wage for as little work as possible is irrelevant.

You struck a nerve with the amount of disrespect you showed with the comment above, is all.

I ask what you do for a living, because I'm curious as to what you do as a "better job".

I do think being a car salesman would be awesome. My love for it would be to talk cars all day. My insight for selling does come from my sister who works at two dealerships. One is Ford, the other is Hyundai.

The people talking down on salespeople probably had bad experiences. For sure their are good and bad. Just like in IT. I once had a developer tell me there was no need to test as long as you code it right. He did not last long. I think to look down on a profession and publically post about it, shows really poor character. As long as it is legal, be my guest. To the guy posting about how much he manages, careful, others on here could probably crush that number. Feel good while you can, from my experience people like that usually see the light sooner or later. Be humble.
