Glad you are ok though…

How the hell did he hit 4 cars - and he not only damaged your 1/4, but your rim looks like it took some of the hit too.

The repair will require a complete 1/4 - they usually will not section that area. You’re looking at close to $10k in just body repairs, excluding the cost of your rim (and any hidden damages we can’t see from pics).

Sorry that happened to you. Beautiful color! It doesn't look too too bad, but if it wasn't THE one for you, you might get an attractive offer on a trade-in.

Sorry to see. Beautiful color though. Looks like you will have to get it fixed and get a great trade in price for a brand new one! But you keep it cause it is a great car. Either way your ok and that is the most important. Good luck!

Looks like a little mustang blood on the road. Dang, it's a tail light lens. Don't we all say we take our cars for better or worse, through sickness and health?

Was on my lunch today and some guy hit me and 4 other cars while at a red light.
Is it sad that I don’t want the car anymore?

Don't forget to get residual value from insurance

Witnesses behind me said he came in at least doing 40mph right through two lanes

Remind me to avoid Foothill Blvd. in Azusa...actually, remind me to avoid every street everywhere in California. Good luck.

It’s tough out here man 😞
From one velocity blue owner to another, my heart goes out to you. That said, get 'er fixed, get some track tires on it, and get out to ACS for a Speed Ventures track day on the Roval. That spoiler will keep the back end well planted in the fast turns.

I would wait, get it fixed and see where you stand. It just happened so emotions are high. My 98 GT got hit in the rear drivers side quarter while I was out of top, guy swung wide and hit it while parked. They did such a great job fixing it I could only see one spot inside the door where they spliced it in. I drove it for another year or 2.

Get diminished value. Sell it to (place online broker here) before carfax shows up. Profit.

Don’t lie though. I don’t know if they ask about wrecks.
Or keep it since you collect the present day diminished value which is MORE than the diminished value when sold years later.

I understand the reaction. I did it myself to my 2015. Dragged the lower right side along a high curb in a parking lot and did $1,500 damage. Nothing serious and easily repaired to where I could not find any evidence it had been hit. But I knew. And it changed things for me. Weird. A car I had saved for for over a year. A first-month production, special-order 2015, and I sold it with 13k miles on it because I got mad at it.

Tell them you're going to kill that fucking lizard if they don't fix your car properly.
