I just got off the phone with Ford and it is an additional 75k miles.
That's because you're out of warranty. Didn't know that. If you're within warranty, then it's total clocked miles, and months since in-service date (when car was first purchased).

So it cost more to purchase out of warranty, however you covered for longer per se’

It’s definitely worth calling.. I called the number on the FordPass app. To compare mine is a 16 GT with 26k miles and the best they could offer was an additional 75k and 4 years... just need 10% down on it and the rest can be split up in 24 mo should you desire to finance it..
Hi Matt, I confused. Ford doesn't offer ESP's on out of warranty cars. Exactly what did your dealer offer you?

It’s funny too they don’t actually... maybe because I get such great deals... they don’t want to talk to me after. My 2nd Charger I should’ve kept because I had 0% financing and still got the rebate with that it was about 10k off. Guess they whored it out and wanted to hit a bonus either that or they made a mistake.

I started w/10k down on a standard R/T Charger where they made their money. (2015) Then I went to a 2017 Charger in May of 2017. That’s the killer deal referenced above...
Kept it for 2 1/2 years and got the 2019 Challenger WideBody... with the 0% and still working off the original 10k down I was ahead...
Challenger I would’ve kept, got stolen, got it back and didn’t want it traded it in on the mustang... I did lose a bit... but still was to the good about $9500. ($5500 gone in that shorty 6 months...) that’s why I say I think I’m going to be keeping this 5 oh for a while.

It’s called Premium Care Extended Service Plan.. when I called Ford after I saw the dealer we went over the mileage terms again to verify. Had it been under its original 3/36, even longer coverage would of been available

Well, thanks Matt. You learn something new everyday. I checked Flood Ford. Seems these plans are only sold at the dealers so online pricing is not available.

there’s a site I use where you can purchase online... however I’m going to look into the factory backed Ford one.

Your post is confusing. Are you saying there is an online dealer that will sell the "used" car Ford ESP? You have a 19' so I presume you're still under the 3/36. Unfortunately you are also in Florida so the online Ford ESP sellers cannot offer you a plan. You have to buy directly from a dealer. Be prepared to pay through the ass for it.

I called Ford today... a guy quoted me $1770 or so just shy of 1800... that’s for full coverage and adds on another 3 years (6 total) and I think it was 60,000 miles total. So about 10k a year..
I can buy it with 5% down like $80 and it had a $100 deductible and you could pay over time... I think it came out to like $53/$56 dollars a month... and I think the financing was for like 2-3 years...

I wasn’t really sold. He did say it does include the lights and key fobs now.

I still suggest contacting Fidelity about their platinum extended warranty. The advantage to that is it spells out what they do not cover, so there is no ambiguity when a claim is made. Always try for this type of extended warranty if you can get it. When you mostly buy used German cars, you learn real fast about extended warranties.
