Tough decision, but I am seriously considering selling my Bullitt. I've only managed to drive it about 100 miles over the past 10 months. I don't really enjoy cruise nights, etc. They are okay for a 1/2 hour or so, but after that I'm out. Being OCD (for real), I struggle parking it and leaving it unattended and get anxiety about the car getting any kind of damage. Some of that is OCD, and some of it is just reality of how people can be. It takes up a lot of space, and I'm spending $700 a month between the note, insurance, etc. Then there is the constant urge to spend money on it.

True car is around $42K, but I may sell it on my own. Hate to part with it, and I'm not 100% committed to selling yet, but if I did this I would be a lot closer to being able to retire.

I always hate to hear people selling. With that said the whole point of the car when you consider how much you spend is to enjoy it. I really love driving mine and using it as a personal expression. Given your description above it sounds like you would be doing a service to both yourself and to someone else to move on. Best of luck in your decision.

I think when you love cars, you will have anxiety no matter what. At the end of the day, it’s a car and it’s meant to be enjoyed so don’t let your OCD control you. This is coming from a fellow OCD person who worried about his past Porsche GT3 down to his current car for cheaper ferry rides, a Mini Cooper. Lol I’ve learned to ween myself slowly by doing baby steps. Obviously don’t do idiot stuff like overnight parking in a known ghetto, but you’ll be fine for the most part and insurance has your back. Now if you don’t enjoy driving it versus another car, then ofc, sell it. Best of luck with it all.

Yea, because at that stage - it's just a gigantic 1:18 scale model collecting dust... and for what reason...
Lmao! Theres this burger chain, "Quaker Steak and Lube" , and they had WHOLE CARS and Motorcycles suspended in the ceiling as decorations. The cars were on lifts iirc, Motorcycles were cable supported. Tons of cool stuff to look at. Tons of tin signs, and other cool car stuff. Food was decent too! Lol
