On the splitter clearance...any chance you can measure ground clearance?

My S2k barely scrapes underneath on my driveway, trying to figure out if I'll need a ramp
You can use race ramps no problem . Front clearance to level ground %.5 inchs

can someone who has taken delivery measure the front clearance? i want to compare it to my 15 GT with PP so i know if the GT350 will be any lower or how much lower.

also, if you have the tech pack, is there a sub in the trunk and how many speakers are there in the car?

still waiting on mine to be released from the plant, vin 0418 built 10/22

This.

Upgraded our Mazda CX5 to a Bose system. Sounds great. Zero reason why they couldn't have focused on this a bit more, but I have yet to hear it in person. I'll be sure to pay attention when I grab this thing today/tomorrow.

Don't worry about it - look how much performance you get for the money. The rest is just meh.

I love my car. It's better than I expected and more capable than I could ever fully utilize. That said, a couple of tiny things which would be nice.

I would like more base in the stereo. I'm not a drive down the road thumping kind of guy, but the base is really really thin. Additionally I would love to have a proximity sensor up front. The front chin spoiler is so low, I'm terrified of breaking it on a curb. I find myself parking 2 feet back. Little stuff that certainly won't interfere with my enjoyment of this amazing car.

Are there any things, big or small, that you think could be better?
Having been driving Vette's for the past 10 years.....you learn to back into parking spots and not worry about the splitter that way.

never owned a vette, maybe one day, but basically backing in is the answer. these cars come with a back up camera to help that as well. congrats on the car again though, glad to see the post didnt say anything about the performance of the car itself.

Dont own one and have yet to sit in one so this is just based off of pics but the steering wheel just looks massive and not sporty at all. A smaller flat bottom wheel would be the tits imo. Thats a quick swap though, everything else looks awesome!

Good thread. Like all cars, there might be some valid gripes. I'll hold thoughts until I receive mine. On that note, I will be disappointed if the sound system on the tech GT350 doesn't have a loud clean sound. One of the reasons I bought the car was so I didn't have to screw with the stereo/electronics.

With all the talk about saving weight, it's not surprising that the sound system is only paasable. Strong speakers are typically quite heavy as they require a large magnet to get good, clean bass.

This.

Upgraded our Mazda CX5 to a Bose system. Sounds great. Zero reason why they couldn't have focused on this a bit more, but I have yet to hear it in person. I'll be sure to pay attention when I grab this thing today/tomorrow.

Speakers are not great but I am convinced the decoder/audio gets screwed at the source/head unit.

My 1995 Cobra and my 2005 GT Premium have better sounding stereos with one simple change, the head units were swapped to Kenwood decks. My 2015 GT Premium sounds atrocious.

I have put people in in all 3 cars, back to back, listening to the same audio file off of an MP3 jump drive. All 3 agreed that the 10 and 20 year old cars sounded better than my brand new car....

It becomes VERY apparent at higher volumes. Distorted and muddy garbage sound. The 95 and 05 can be played at max volume and still sound very clean, can even play with the gain to boost bass and get away with decent sound. My 2015 just doesnt scratch the itch or have remotely satisfying sound.

I have been in and out of car audio since highschool 20 years ago, my truck just blew it's 3rd set of 12s due to a clipping amp and my refusal to buy a new alternator or buy caps to help the issue. That system is set for sound quality at most normal levels and can play very cleanly to very loud levels.

It pains me to know that it is likely a GIGANTIC HUGE PAIN IN THE ASS to get rid of the integrated premium audio and clean up the SOURCE of the issue with my 2015 GT.

Oh and the thing worse than MP3 audio in my 2015? Sirrius. I wont even touch it now given how crappy the audio sounds, FM in my area sounds better.

Sorry to hear the GT350 is more of the same when it comes to the audio on the tech pack.

My bet is the speakers are the same as in the premium. But I have my bets, as I posted above, that it all begins at the source and is miserably reproduced by lack luster speakers.

I would make this comment a tip rather than gripe, If you have a tech, you might want to get in the habit of moving seat back before getting out and in. The side bolsters look like they are going to wear pretty hard there where you slide in. had/have same problem with GT500 seats. have just over 500 miles on it.:headbang:

Audio systems are subjective. My son loves tons of BASS I don't. I think the system is decent and wont be changing it out like I have done on most of my Mustangs.
