Is that a condom wrapper in the cup holder?

Now we all know the real reason for the crash ;)

Anyone know where you can buy parts off wrecked 2015's? It seems these never make it to a junk yard and are auctioned off. I have to imagine some of these are getting parted out.

Based off acquaintances I have. Alot of small performance shops have deals with salvage yards. Anytime and LS powered vehicle w/ no cylinder deactivation ect comes in, said group of acquaintances gets first crack they never make it to the public.

This is how the feed there cheap performance machines and get cores for customer builds. Though they often just throw them in vehicles and boost them to they die, and swap another motor in.

Thanks, I would love to get a hold of an APIM from a wrecked 2015 with Nav so I would imagine the performance shops aren't' doing much with these. I want to see what can be done as far as loading custom roms and modifying the interface without risking bricking mine.

Am I the only one that it makes a little nervous so many accidents and so few air bags deployed.

Hit a deer in mine last night and swerved went though two ditches at 35-40 miles a hour rough right no air bags deployed but the air bag light is on. Worse was stuck in a bunch of throne bushes couldn't open the door. Restarted the car and put it in reverse to try and hopefully get enough room to get and out and oil light engine over heating light came on started knocking and died almost immediately. Don't have any pics yet really don't think it is that bad but the whole car is scratched up and the motor thing has me concerned. Wonder how bad parts are for these right now. My insurance company is going to take care of it but I am sure it is going to get expensive real quick.

Airbags do enough damage to the human body. Engineers are figuring that out and now a certain set of circumstances must be met before they will deploy. A solid hit in a certain direction (and not redirected up, sideways etc) must happen before it will deploy.

This was my thought that it most likely would of hurt more had they went off because I was sore the next day just from being jerked around in the seat belt.

Insurance adjuster came out today looked at it and my brother said he was up to 20,000 worth of body damage pretty quick apparently the parts for our cars are not cheap at all. The headlights are 1300 each they wanted to be able to look under it as there is oil coming from some where so had it towed to my mechanics shop he said it looks like the oil filter took a big hit from something. This scares me because i tried to back the car up a couple of times so I could open the door figuring the lights were on because i broke a sensor so if it has no oil it ran with out oil for a a few minutes. I will say this Travelers has been quick to call me back after I filed the claim and quick to get someone out to look at it. So far I give them a A++ on handling this still a ways to go though.

Holy crap!

This thread made me feel better about my wheel bite incident last night. Despite being ultra-vigilant, you can never prepare for the other driver...

Hence this:
