Upper brass don't want to hear about issues. Never have and that is why things are like they are. But your comment was noted . You can only go as good a job as the tools you are given to do it . Yep, I don’t spend my time in the GT, EB, or 350 sub-forums as I have nothing to contribute. Some folks are just starved for attention and don’t care where or how they get it.

I'm like you. If I dont own the equipment, you don't see me hanging around the applicable forums. People are welcome, as long as they are respectful, right up to the point that they are not.

Newer equipment.
Need to have better fit and finish as it is a basic car more vehicles in that segment, the Mustang buyer would buy it with as long as it had the v8 rumble and smoked the tires.
And only 2 other 2 door v8 rear drive muscle/pony cars.
The union workers didn't make the tooling stamping out the ill fitting panels.
nor, are the robots welding them in place, Lack of investment of care of equipment is the problem at Flatrock. Everything works off the jig, if it is off, tolerance stack is a bitch.That and Ford knows they don't have to bother. they'll get more orders than they can fill.

newer equipment doesn't suddenly magically make body panels fit all correctly, keep nicks off steering wheels, and scratches off molding... diligent careful workers do.

unions are mobs at least and terrorist organizations at their worst. if its the first year "oh they're still working out kinks" if its my 2022 its "oh its old equipment". mother flipper the car was only made for 4 years and the chassis for 8 at that point.
