DMV

You mean Ford will have another new Sport car model? That's not the Mustang? Like the super car ? That would be cool.
How did you get that from what I wrote? We're talking Mustangs here.

And why not DMV?...What does ye know???
Ford CEO Alan Mulally said some time ago, that going forward, Ford would focus soley on turbo-charging, for FI engines. Ecoboost is the future, for Ford.

Probably because He understands superchargers are inefficient.

Most likely, the 3.7 twin-turbo V6 will be in the SVT. So, those backyard mechanics will be the ones putz'ing around with blowers.

Have you driven a 13/14 GT500? Wheel spin is very minimal with decent tires.

It is true that I'll get some wheel spin when shifting from 1st to 2nd @ 80mph. However, the 13/14s handle the power better than the previous models. It is surprising just how easy it is to drive this thing fast without feeling like you're going to end up upside down in a ditch.

He was mocking that more horsepower means very little at the track... if the car is unbalanced, doesn't handle and is a pig.

Going fast in a strait line isn't what many people want, aspire to do. They want a real car, that can handle a real track... and the recent BOSS's illustrated Ford can design such a beast.

Most people should take driving lessons, than seek an extra 100hp out of their new Mustangs. Driving fast in a strait line is for people who don't have a car that can handle.

In 2015, you do...

BTW, the GT500 is easily out-handled by a BOSS around the track. With the new S550 chassis, horsepower will mean very little, unless you are into bragging & bravado...

Sorry, not hat'n... it's just that most strait line folks use live-axle Stangs. (we need a burn-out emoticon)

There is no such thing as the 3.7L TT, unless you know something crazy you'd like to share with us.

Let me just say I think the best argument i have heard that the 5.8L will not make its way into the next GT350 or 500 is that the Trinity engine is at its heart based on 10+ year old research and development. It's got to be very soon to be replaced with something so why would they try to squeeze it into an engine bay that Pericak has said would need to be modified just to extend its life another year or two at most? We all know there's got to be a new SVT motor on its way by 2018 or sooner.

Are We Positive it's going to be a Heat Extractor on the Hood...

Seeing that the GT has Small Heat Extractors on the Hood and We know the SVT will have good sized Heat Extractors behind the front wheels in the fenders, could it be the SVT will get a large forard facing scoop like the one in this clip from the Tape Video?
