The bumper removal is easy apart from the two small screws that hold the corners of the bumper in place behind the arch liner.

I Didn't want the +Amber ones as I only want them as DRL's and will use LED indicator bulbs in the stock position :)
Thanks. Ok I'll let the guy installing it on mine know (about the bumper).

I take it that it was a simple splice in with the factory DRL's?

Taking mine in to get the front tribars done this weekend - 2 weeks without the car [emoji20] but off on holiday, so only be affected for a week

Anyone got any other tips for me to leave with the guy working on it other than SteveP's advice on the small screws in the arch liner?

Thanks guys

I supplied the parts and shipped the lights to him and original estimate was around ÂŁ150 to complete the work. I should have them back on Wednesday this week, it took him around 2-3 hours per light to get them opened.
That is a great price. You are usually looking at at least $200 in the states just to open/reseal the lights and any work on top of that is extra.

Wow! Looks V cool . How do you connect the new LED's to the wiring loom of the car, is it a difficult job?
+1 on this. Any info would be great SteveP. Did they wire/splice it to the factory DRL?

Looks stunning!

Just FYI, some of us in the Europe section (as if UK it's not in Europe ) already had it done by user hdcustoms.pl (user caniggia here on the forum) and the total was 500 eur for the complete work (led boards, sequentials and shipping back included). Sending to Poland costs me about 40 eur, but my package was huge because I sent taillights together with headlights).
If you have to buy led boards from DD from USA you have to add to the cost of parts, shipping and custom fees.. so probably it'll be cheaper from Poland :)

Photos on prev page show that lamps are melted by opening them this way. Never look stock when hood open. Can you post photo from top when installed in car?
I do DD install for 200 EUR and it looks stock when installed.
Never checked, does They dimm when in parking? Have one on desk but not yet checked :)

I have taken a feed from the drivers side DRL, I use this to trigger a relay rather than directly power the LED's and Controller, so I have run a new fused spur from the main engine bay fuse box for the power and taken the earth from the block of connections on the chassis leg

I will grab some photos later but didn't notice anything on the case that looked different.

I don't believe they dim when in parking mode
