Was going to have a try but found a company that are be able to do it so trying going to leave it to professionals as I have plenty of other mods to do this week while the car is immobile

Everything inside the UK headlight was as expected, the white mounting plate is there so the installation is pretty straight forward once the headlight is open. Jem at Puretek said it took a few heat cycles to open so it's not the easiest he's seen but not the worst.

Excellent news if all the internals for the LED boards and driver mounting are present ..... I was definitely expecting them not to be there! Please keep us posted on how things progress (and how much it costs!). Have you got any contact details for Puretek please, all I can find is a Facebook page with no email address ..... and I point-blank refuse to sign up to Facebook :D

I supplied the parts and shipped the lights to him and original estimate was around ÂŁ150 to complete the work. I should have them back on Wednesday this week, it took him around 2-3 hours per light to get them opened.

SteveP Great job! Did you get the RGBW+Amber? Removing the front bumper to get access to the headlamps looks a tad scary :eyebulge:

The bumper removal is easy apart from the two small screws that hold the corners of the bumper in place behind the arch liner.

I Didn't want the +Amber ones as I only want them as DRL's and will use LED indicator bulbs in the stock position :)
