yeah highway 1 is really beautiful and what an amazing driving road. I started up north by mill valley and went for a couple hours. It you have these amazing hair pin turns, banked curves and straight aways. also you have the road to yourself after a certain point.

As for forced induction I like it in other cars but I don't want to supercharge my mustang. I don't know why really I just don't. So I think il do as many bolt ons possible in order to get to that 500 HP Figure

Also thanks for the advice about the tower strut brace. Going to pick one of those up right away!
The strut tower brace + k-brace (ties the cowl to the strut towers) really makes a big improvement in front-end feel and response. I know I sure didn't expect the magnitude of change I got. Exhaust next! It makes the car sooo much fun to drive.

I know I cant wait! Do you know if its possible to get the car to 500 crank HP without forced induction? Oh and lets say with a budget of 2-3k?
I can get you +50 hp with one free and easy trick ... shift at redline instead of shifting at 5k rpm.

hahahaha best advice ive gotten yet! yeah at one point during my drive I (accidently) buried the needle into redline. Must admit, I was grinning the whole time.

Id really like to be able to get a little more low end power. something around the 2k mark. I think one of the new power packs said it adds like 60lb torque around 1500 RPM which sounds great

And the vette would not have any of the creature comforts, warranty (if you care about that) or new car smell that the S550 has. It's hard to beat the new mustangs, and this is coming from someone who has a 7 year old vette. The S550 is my wife's car, and I love it.
I loved my modded 06 C6. But i love my new GT also.
