I use PNG if I'm exporting from Photoshop because they are lossless and phones can handle them as well as other web hosting/file sites. Some more shots.
What settings do you guys export pictures from PS?
Picking up a 17-40 F/4L for now and I have my 50 F/1.4 still from my old ass 20D. I had sold off most of my stuff years and years ago when I fell out of shooting so I will have to rebuild my arsenal. I also had some EF-S lenses that won't mount to the 5D and already sold off some of those. I still have my manfrotto tripod but my ball head is worn outWhat lens you strapping to that thing?

I'm just curious where you're using an 8-12MB jpg at? I'm asking because if it's purely for posting on the web, then you should be downsizing the dimensions to something smaller like 1600x1200 or even 1024x768 pixels. That will give you a jpg with much smaller file sizes (under 1MB), even at 90 compression. If you're printing out these jpgs, then there's better file formats to use for that purpose because you're losing quality from the compression. How big are PNG's relative to the original RAW files? The .NEF files from my D7200 are about 24-30mb each and when exporting from PS or LR to a .jpeg they are still about 8-12mb.
Depends on your editing. I have had PNG's up to 60MB before, and I have also had some as low as 11MB. If you "Save for Web" then you can do PNG's that are smaller file sizes but still full dimensions and great quality. Also if you use Lightroom and haven't paid enough attention to the save settings, you can adjust the amount of quality that the files export at. I think the default is 60%.How big are PNG's relative to the original RAW files? All that does is save time for uploading but you probably spend that much time you save just trying to crop it and save different sized files. Full sized megafiles for the win. I'll upload to Facebook or my 500px accounts and they automatically resize. Otherwise I will email to friends/family if they want to print or just save. I've exported some as a PDF for my girlfriend to print since she works at the UPS Store and can do full quality prints. Haven't completed a project for that yet, still going through my portfolio.I'm just curious where you're using an 8-12MB jpg at? Awesome bit of kit...have you got any decent L's to stick on?!It finally happened.... I broke down and ordered a 5D MKIII yesterday.
Just getting a 17-40 F4L to start off with. I'd love to eventually move up to the 16-35 but that'll be a while. I'll probably rent some of the really expensive glass when/if I need it and slowly add some other pieces. Camera gear takes away from car parts so it's always a battle of which do I want more.Awesome bit of kit...have you got any decent L's to stick on?!
Appreciate that brother! I always enjoy seeing your shots too! You can always still go with the AirLift and sell what you have! A bagged Vert would be nice!Nice shots as always man! God I wish I had waited on suspension so I could rock some airlift. Love the stance man.
Went out and just took some "ok" ones today. Wasn't really feeling it today, but thought these came out decently at least.
Sony A6000 - Sony 55-210mm Telephoto - Sony 50mm Prime - Sony 16-50mm Kit Lens.Very nice Whitemare!
What were you shooting with and what settings? Also, was there any post processing?
Keep em' coming!

Ha! You are one of the best there is! I've taken so much inspiration from what you did with your shots of the Silver S197! I always look forward to your shots! Amazing photography, don't kid yourself! Also, no matter what our profession is, it seems we all love Mustangs, and we all like photography. My skills are mediocre at best, but I love it anyway. I work between 30 and 100 hours a week. So you can imagine how difficult it is to explore and find new locations, have time to go shoot pictures, and then find time for processing. Where I really get to have fun, is in postprocessing. It is so much fun trying different things. I take pictures for myself. I do it because I enjoy it, not because I am good at it.
Game...Set...Match! :clap2:It finally happened.... I broke down and ordered a 5D MKIII yesterday.
