50mm L f1.2
24mm L f1.4
8-15mm L f4.0 fisheye
16-35mm L f2.8
24-70mm L f2.8
100mm L f2.8 Macro
70-200mm L f2.8

I'm about to order my GT PP...

I just can't wait to aim my camera at one!!! oh the night shots I'm planning!!

That's basically like buying two cars.

I'm imagining Deadpool with his magic satchel if he were a photographer instead of a, well, you know, badass.

-"Here's my portrait setup, here's my landscape setup, here's my wide angle portrait setup, here's my car photography setup, here's my macro setup, this one is for your mom, this one is for the neighbor's hot daughter, here's my wildlife setup, here's my sports setup, oh this is my walk around setup, then this one is my candid setup, this is my candid walk around setup, this one is my indoors setup, this one is for astrophotography, Oh! here's my film camera for going all 'Old Skool' n'shit..."

Good rule of thumb, spend your money on quality glass not on a super professional camera. Good pictures come from the person standing behind the lens not the camera. That being said there are some excellent pictures here:hail:

Exactly.
Same could be said for post-processing making great pictures.

Quick question man. So on a few of your pics, specifically the one I posted, is the twinkle in your head light natural? Or did you add that in Post Process? If that's done in PP, how was it done?

Doing a longer exposure at a small aperture(f11-f16) will yield that starburst effect.

Thanks man! That was a very good read.

This tip was useful too,
TIP: When using a tripod, turn any “image stabilization” or “vibration reduction” off – this is only useful when your camera is handheld and can actually do more bad than good if you’re using a tripod.

Learn something knew every day thanks to you guys!

Also if you are panning a moving subject(moving your camera to follow the subject) you should turn off vibration control as well. Some high-end lenses have a 'Normal' and 'Active' setting for vibration control and some are specific for panning. However lower-end lenses like Sigma or Tamron or even lower-end Nikon or Canon lenses only have On/Off and their VC/IS does not work very well when the lens/camera is moving quickly.

So when you say moving, would shooting from the passenger side window of a moving car, taking a rolling shot of another car count as moving and should turn IS off? I'm fairly confident none of my Canon lenses have any setting for IS other than On/Off. I'll double check tonight though.

If the other car is still relative to you(both cars going the same speed and direction) then have IS/VC ON so it can stabilize your hands from the obvious bumps when driving down the road. If the car is passing you and you are following it with your camera then turn OFF the IS/VC.

20% equipment
70% photographer
10% post processing

I always heard photography is 90% light, 8% skill, 1% equipment, and 1% post.
