It's $7000 in MSRP terms... and I've found the dealers didn't want to move as much on the GTs. I'd say I probably save around $8500-$9000 over a base GT with this car.It's a little more than a few grand. It's like $6000 minimum upfront. Add in the increased gas use and the more expensive insurance then it is north of 10k. That's nothing to sneeze at in my world.
Now, I don't count the gas savings, because I spent a little in modding (around $1200 so far - will stop around $2000) -- which negates that, given that the plan is to own this car for around 2-3 years, and then buy a GT350
