Gentlemen - You all are awesome! Before I provide an update, I first want to THANK YOU for taking the time to read through my gibberish and offering your perspective on my self-created dilemma. It's only fitting that I provide an update on where things currently stand:

The Mustang Situation

So earlier today, I took a beautiful Grabber Blue GT for a spin. Once the session was over, I hopped into my V6 and.... honestly? The experience further cemented my love for the V6! Don't get me wrong, the GT is a great car and I get why it's the de-facto standard for most Mustang enthusiasts. I simply like the V6 a little bit more. In my opinion - and I may be the only person who feels this way - , there's a beautiful symmetry to the V6 S550. It's sporty performance and distinct American attitude perfectly compliments the cars muscular yet refined aesthetic.

Of course, the MPT P93X tune on my V6 doesn't hurt. Anyhoo - since handling means a bit more to me than roaring to a red light a second faster, I decided to hang onto my V6 for the long haul. The bottom line is that a better Mustang will always be around once I'm ready for it.

The Fiesta Situation

So here's where things get interesting. I have the 2017 Honda Civic Sport in the driveway right now, and I gotta say, it's an impressive car. It handles well, the ride is incredibly smooth, the materials are of high quality for the money, it's practical, and it certainly isn't slow when you switch it over to sport mode.

There are some downsides though. It's a larger car, which means I can say goodbye to super easy parking. It's also not nearly as nimble as the little Fiesta - which begs to be thrashed around (like a proper Hatch), and lastly, the Civic doesn't even come CLOSE to approaching the way that the Fiesta connects you to the road.

At the end of the day though, I have to bear in mind that this is a daily driver, not a sports car. That's what the Mustang is for. The Fiesta is a great car, but it's also a used car that's compromised in one very big way - safety. A kid on a tricycle could take me out!

I'll be weighing out the pro's and con's over the next 12 hours before making a final decision. Will spend more time on the road and hopefully come up with a decision that makes the most sense over the long haul, as this will no doubt be a very, very long-term decision.

Whoa...I had the same experience when I test drove the GT (which I have done many times). I ended up loving my V6 more after it, dunno why. Maybe that's why I've been hella enjoying my V6 ever since.
A very good car imo, only real problem with it is all the insults from online comments lol.

That would be a great car for zipping around town, but it seems like OP wants to go into something that is larger and more practical (based on the initial post). Going from Fiesta to Fiesta will not change much besides the car's performance. I would say a Focus ST would be a better choice...or maybe a GTI. Any other choices that I am missing? Those are the two that stick out in my mind.
