i had issues with my X4 (purchased from another company) with Windows 10 drivers at first. those issues should be ironed out now.

SCT had to log on to my computer to fix the issue today. If this had been a weekend, I would have been s.o.l.

Have an opinion on the product. Fine. SCTx4 leaves a lot to be desired, not many will disagree. Getting mad a Steeda because they sold you one? Come on.

I can only imagine your post here had Steeda refused to sell you the device because some customers didn't know how to find and install the proper drivers.

SCT is who one he should be venting to. Not Microsoft's fault SCT doesn't include the proper drivers for windows 8/10. At the very least SCT should be including a note for users explaining that the x4 won't be recognized in win10 and where to go to get the proper drivers.

I have purchased a lot of products from Steeda and their products are excellent. This tuner is NOT their product. I ordered their CAI/Tuner power pack. I had NO reason to think I needed to research the tuner they included in this combo. So no, I am not an idiot for being upset when I feel that Steeda could have used a tuner that isn't giving people issues.

Sir you are an idiot for calling out Steeda. You the consumer have a responsibility to research (which you did NOT DO)and make a determination if this product is for you. What if they sold you a nitrous kit and you put it on KILL when doing a pull and popped your engine? Would it be their fault that you did not research on how to use it? Just like you did not do your research on how to work the SCT tuner? Think about it and we will wait for your official public apology to Steeda for A-Holes like you slamming them for NO REASON. :headbonk:

What the fuck are you talking about man. I typically don't respond to people like you, but you specifically called out Steeda for a problem that DOES NOT involve them. Steeda is an incredibly reputable brand, and shitheads like you who post a thread saying that they screwed up looks extremely bad on them (especially when it wasn't their fault). Keep in my that this forum is very popular, and people come here every single day for advice on what brand to use. And when they see your thread post, and not look at anyone's reply (yes, that happens), they won't consider Steeda.

Go and edit your first post saying it is not Steeda's fault and give an apology. You obviously don't know how businesses work. Put this in perspective, David is a Steeda specific rep on the forums, that is Steeda making an investment to help people with their products online...so yes, this is serious.

The X4 is not a POS. Sometimes it will give you issues trying to load a tune on it or updating the software. I personally have never had an issue with mine. Steeda does not advertise it as being some great tuning device. Make sure you are using the correct drivers if you choose to use the X4. It does seem to be more of a Windows 10 fault though.
