Tear in my rear control arm bushing?

When I was installing lowering springs I noticed this tear in from what I can recall was the rear lower control arm bushing? Does this need to be replaced ?

The car only has 14k miles not sure why this happened.

Swap with sphericals. Even on a DD, it would be a nice upgrade, and probably the best thing you can do for the rear of the car.
