Hi all,

I am looking to get a pair of rear lower control arms from eBay that came out of a PP car. I have a 2023 GT premium (non-pp). Are the rear lower control arms the same for both of these cars?

Very happy to be part of this community. Learned so much already!

I know the ones for a Magneride car are different. But I don't know if there's a difference in standard GT LCRs vs. PP1 GT LCRs.

I think a part number look up at a Ford OEM parts site could answer that.

Why do you need LCRs? Crash?

These bushings are trash. Replace them before install.

The main reason is to install the BMR bushings on the new ones and leave the stock ones intact. They were $50 bucks a piece.

Turns out the ones I ordered are for the magneride. 😞 Oh well, I will have an extra pair sitting in my garage I guess

KingKona, I see you are in VA. Any good mustang shops around? I have a Torsen diff I want installed. Ford quote $1000

Sorry, I don't know anyone that does diffs. Try Shogun, he might know someone.

Does it matter which way you press the old one out and which way you press the new one in?
the aluminum arm is clearly tapered on one side. So it expects a specific direction. That being said, the aftermarket bushings do not have a stop or asymmetry.

Thank you for the response. Just to clarify, are the arrows below accurate as you are showing in your picture?

Sorry for the newbie questions. Just trying to clarify and learn.

Thats definitely how I pushed out the first one… from memory I have no idea if that was the actual right direction.

That's the way I did it also, hoping it is the right direction :)
